A cold rushing river releases a plump fish to an Eagle's (or a Hawk's) vice-like gripping talons in a dynamic scene carved from one portion of serpentine. The great hunter's eyes are from inlaid turquoise and mighty wings are incredibly detailed. The cross-hatched water creature has a red coral eye. Approximately 3 1/4" tall, 3 1/4" wide and 1" deep, by Zuni Pueblo carver Derrick Kaamasee.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary.
