Hayes Leekya's late grandfather Leekya Deyuse carved human figures, hands, feet and plant forms especially leaves, among other subjects. In a nod to this grandfather's wonderful artistry, Haye's white marble or perhaps sugar stone marble bushytail (Fox, Wolf or Coyote) has an offering bundle which includes a beautifully carved orange spiny oyster leaf accompanied by turquoise and more spiny oyster shell beads. Heartfelt eyes from pen shell inlays impart a playful spirit. A gorgeous size at approximately 7 1/2" long, 2 3/8" wide and 2 1/4" tall.
