Bisbee is a large copper mine located near Bisbee, Arizona. Around the late 1950's, a deposit of turquoise was discovered in the Lavender Pit region of the mine. Much of that turquoise is long gone so these days, Bisbee turquoise is considered rare and quite precious. Master jeweler Eric Othole's glorious ring is hand-fabricated with rich 24K gold and sterling silver. Front and center is a beautiful Bisbee turquoise cabochon securely cradled by a stunning setting. Hand-cut and hammered plant elements bloom around the stone accented with sterling silver balls. Eric leaves no surface untouched even designing the underside with celestial elements like exploding stars. The layered band is equally gorgeous. Signed by the artist, this is a ring size 7. The ring's station in its entirety is about 1 1/2" in diameter. Don't miss this captivating work of wearable art.
