An Eaglet (or Hawk) looks forward to trying out new plumage, beautifully etched by Bryston Bowannie into magnesite. Turquoise inlaid eyes see the distant horizon that it'll soon visit. A hooked beak and a determined spirit will get this baby raptor far in life. About 3" long, 3/4" wide and 1 1/2" tall.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary. Please see our resources page for more information on the sanctuary.
Eyes from inlaid cultured opals gaze deeply in Zuni Pueblo artist Daryl Shack, Sr.'s magnesite Eagle (or Hawk). Aerodynamic wings fly gracefully in this approximate 1 1/2" long, 1/2" wide and 1 1/4" tall raptor. An offering bundle has super colorful goodies like coral and turquoise pieces.
Dragonflies light up the air and skies with their captivating movements and iridescent beauty. One of the fastest insects on planet earth, these expert fliers can go higher than any bug. It's no wonder as the Zunis regard dragonfly as the messenger who carries prayers to Spirit World.
