Award-winning Zuni Pueblo artist Ray Tsalate's Fox has the cutest face ever! It is masterfully carved from burnished antler with a voluminous tail. A natural porous area was purposely placed to bring out this turquoise-eyed canine's inquisitive spirit. Foxes are usually shy but they are also curious. They remain active all year and do not hibernate. A friendly bird sculpted from refreshing chrysocolla with tiny coral eyes is perched on a magnificent orange spiny oyster shell point. Brian Yatsattie's exceptional Eagle (or Hawk) is masterfully carved from collectible African chrysocolla. Perched with fiercely etched eyes and gripping talons, this approximately 2 3/8" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall raptor scopes out a meal. While maintaining a comprehensive view, an eagle can see the smallest of details from a great distance. They teach us our spiritual and physical journey in life must be in focus.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary. Please see our resources page for more information on the sanctuary.
