Stevan Natachu's crouching Mountain-lion (puma, panther or cougar) is carved from an earthy onyx that's been overlaid with a gorgeous mosaic tail composed with azurite, mother-of-pearl, jet and orange spiny oyster shell to emphasize a feline's powerful tail. Ray Tsalate's endless creativity brought about a gorgeous Zuni Maiden pendant necklace. His work is in permanent and private collections the world over. Masterfully carved from antler, intricately incised whorled hair, confident pen shell eyes, plus a red coral and turquoise necklace adorn the Maiden who herself is about 1 3/4" long, 3/4" wide and 3/4" deep. The delicious double strand necklace that's approximately 20" long is laced with colorful azurite beads. A sterling silver toggle clasp closure is accented with two plump opalites.

Vince Chavez's powerful Badger emerges from a root-filled den to hunt among the fertile grasslands. Badgers maintain and invigorate soil health through foraging and den building. Seeds are spread through their dung. Dens provide refuge for other wildlife too, even ground owls. Smoothly sculpted from indigenous Zuni travertine, while classic fur striping is etched and filled with colorful azurite paste, this turquoise-eyed friend is about 5 1/4" long, 3 1/4" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
