Sheep have lived along side man since the beginning. It is said that counting sheep goes back to shepherds in medieval Britain who used a special counting system to keep track of their flocks before going to sleep at night. Sheep demonstrate strong family ties and distinctive personalties. They spend a lot of time laying down so it is appropriate Christopher Sandoval's wonderful black marble sheep beds down for a while. Soft etching creates a lovely fleece coat on this approximately 1 7/8" long 1 3/8" wide and 1 1/4" tall ruminant. Turquoise eyes and darling ears create an expression anyone will fall in love with.
