Intriguing armadillos are helpful mammals who consume insects like termites, grubs and cockroaches. An adorable armadillo's bony armored plates which protect the head, body and limbs are beautifully detailed with techniques like cross-hatching. Jet in turquoise eyes are cleanly inlaid to a foraging face with the cutest ears. A segmented tail wraps around conveying a nice sense of movement. Masterfully carved from an earth-toned Picasso marble, Hudson Sandy's precious woodland friend is about 3" long, 7/8" wide and 1 3/8" tall.
