Frogs are considered a rain-bringing fetish, associated with abundance, fertility and cleansing. Nelson Yatsattie's fluidly sculpted marble water creature measures about 2" long, 2" wide and 7/8" tall. Eyes and back accents are from turquoise inlays, while a smile and toes are from sgraffito etching. Frogs are the first animals to respond to environmental changes like pollution and climate change.
