Watermelon Loving Swine

As happy as a pig in a watermelon patch this smiling swine is carved from watermelon serpentine by Mike Mahooty. With eyes of inlaid turquoise, floppy ears, and a natural inclusion that creates a satisfied grin we love the pink and gray colorations of this 2 3/4" long by 1 3/8" tall fellow. Did you know pigs were one of the first animals to be domesticated nearly 9000 years ago. That means these sweet, peace loving friends have been living along side us for a very long time!
