Melissa Oliver
Melissa Oliver, honors the memory of her Grandmother Effie Calavaza (d) by continuing with the snake motif in her jewelry designs originated and popularized by Effie during her long career as a jeweler. Beginning in 2002 Melissa began assisting Effie with her jewelry starting with stone work and buffing. Encouraged by her Grandmother, Melissa expanded her talents to include silversmithing to become a jeweler in her own right and earned the permission to continue Effie's snake motif, along with her sister Gloria, brother Randy (d) and sister-in-law Joy.
