Matt Lovato is one of three sons of renowned jeweler Anthony Lovato who descends from a rich family of Kewa artists like potters, silversmiths and basket weavers. Making his own mark in the art world, Matt's mosaic dangle earrings are treasures. Each custom cut turquoise, jet and pipestone piece fits meticulously on top a bead of wood in these approximately 2 3/4" long including hooks and 1" wide medium-weight earrings. Not only do we adore the striking composition but the reverse sides host wonderful pyrogravure treatment showing elegant corn motifs along with Matt's signature. His late grandmother Mary C. Lovato was born into the Corn Clan so corn imagery is sacred to the family.
