Sheryl and Strallie Edaakie's jewelry creations utilize challenging jewelry techniques such as the stone to stone method as evidenced in a glorious sterling silver Zuni Sunface cuff bracelet. The traditional Sunface symbol represents the elements in balance. A great array of individual pieces from stone, coral and shell were hand cut to lay meticulously side by side creating an almost seamless inlay, the ultimate in vibrant color and pueblo design. Sky blue turquoise, bold jet, rich pen shell, lively red coral, iridescent mother-of-pearl and luscious lapis lazuli compose the Sunface element that is surrounded by a lovely rope and silver ball border. This entire circular station is approximately 1 1/2" in diameter. The magnificent cuff which is about 1 3/8" wide, displays hand stamped motifs like growing plants, rising suns and nourishing rainfall.
