Branch Red Coral Necklace & Earrings Set

In some Pueblo cultures, red coral is viewed as a protective gift from the ocean worn as jewelry. Noted jeweler Smokey Gchachu has obtained incredible segments of natural branch red coral to create an aesthetically pleasing sterling silver necklace and earrings set. The hard skeleton of red coral branches is naturally matte but can be polished to a glassy shine as seen in Smokey's offering. The center station of the necklace measures about 5" wide and 1 3/8" long, while the overall length of the necklace is roughly 18 1/2" long. A hand woven sterling silver chain is amazing. The complimenting earrings are approximately 1 5/8" long including hooks. Signed by the artist.
