Mallards are dabbling ducks as they feed in the water by tipping forward and grazing on underwater plants. Ducks are revered in Zuni Pueblo because of their amazing abilities to swim in water, walk on land and fly high in the air. Edward Lewis' exciting flying mallard duck pendant is from hand-painted bright acrylics on marble. The vibrant green and blue hues are so appealing. Including the twisted silver bale fixture, measurements are about 2 1/2" long and 1 5/8" wide. Signed by the artist. The nice silver snake chain is not included but is available and sold separately
