Butterfly ring is tufa cast from sterling silver, light as air as it rests on your finger. The traditional tufa cast method of jewelry production involves carving the butterfly design, in reverse, into the stone and then pouring molten sterling silver into the stone mold. This is a ring, size 9, has a band that starts at 1/2" under the butterfly and tapers down to 5/16" at the back. Very comfortable to wear. The butterfly has a wingspan of about 3/4" wide by 3/4" long. The casting gives a lovely texture to the butterfly and is accented with stamped details on the wings and along the band. A gorgeous and sparkling opal cabochon sits at the center of the butterfly with mesmerizing colors of red, green, orange and yellow. Cordell's signature stamp can be seen just inside the band.
