Rosita Kaamasee comes from the late George Cheechee Haloo family of Zuni artists. He is one of the most important carvers known for fetish necklaces. Continuing in the extraordinary fetish necklace tradition, Rosita's gathered a myriad of her hand-carved feathered friends and Bears in an approximately 30" long stunning double-strand necklace. The creatures are presented in a colorful array of materials such as pen shell, serpentine, fluorite, coral, pink coral, spiny oyster shell, lapis lazuli, turquoise, mother-of-pearl, fossilized ivory, denim lapis and jadeite. The delightful animal's average is size from about 5/8" to 1 1/4" long. They share the strands with gorgeous baby olive heishe beads. Eyes are drilled and filled with jet paste.
