Zuni artist Pansy Natachu has been carving divine animal necklaces through the years and her latest offering is a stunning necklace featuring 15 tiny yet powerful turquoise bears. Their gentle eyes and continuous heartlines or breath paths are from jet inlays which contrast beautifully with the sky blue hue of the stones. The handmade single strand necklace with fine turquoise and jet beads is about 26 1/2" long, while the center bear measures roughly 7/8" long from back to front, 1/4" wide from side to side and 3/8" tall. The smaller bear's average approximately 3/8" long from top to bottom, 5/8" wide from head to tail and 1/8" tall. Silver end cones and a hook and eye closure finish the collectible work of wearable art with much traditional meaning.
