Māori tribes treasure dolphins calling them taniwha or water spirits. A sentient dolphin's gift to us is a model of compassion, community and balance. Highly-intelligent, they call each other by name. Herbert Halate's smoothly sculpted jet dolphin has turquoise eyes and measures approximately 3 1/4" long, roughly 7/8" wide and 1 1/8" tall.
