Herbert Halate's observant turquoise-eyed bushytail (Coyote, Fox or Wolf) carved from jet has a colorful turquoise point offering bundle given in thanks for wild canines who keep Mother Earth in balance. Herbert's father was noted artist Leonard Halate who started producing stone animal carvings in the 1940's. Herbert and his siblings, Reva Halate, Marvelita Phillips and Pansy Natachu, continue the tradition. About 3 1/4" long, 5/8" wide and 7/8" tall.
