Dolphin Brother

The Indigenous Chumash People surrounding the Santa Barbara Channel believe their connection to the ocean and marine life is not only spiritual but familial. Dolphins are blood brothers and sisters, key members of Chumash creation myth. We can respect marine life by reducing, reusing and recycling non-biodegradable items including damaging plastics. Honor our ocean friends like dolphins by doing our share in keeping their homes clean. Herbert Halate's lightly fragrant Zuni cedar wood dolphin joyfully jumps through the waves at approximately 5 1/4" long, 1 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall. Eyes are from turquoise inlays.
