Wonderful Walrus

Walruses are a major resource animal for Indigenous Peoples of the Arctic. Gayla Eriacho's approximately 2 1/8" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1 1/8" tall darling walrus has a pair of watery mother-of-pearl tusks or canine teeth. In nature, a pair of tusks enable a walrus to dig into sand, snow and ice to hoist itself out of the water. Turquoise eyes are big and bright, set into lovely Zuni travertine.
