Ancient Wetland Mastodon

Ancient cool wetlands with lush forests and abundant waterways were home to mastodons, relatives of mammoths and elephants. Calbert Bowannie's mastodon has been smoothly sculpted from a fabulous found stone to a size of approximately 2 1/4" long, 1" wide and 1 5/8" tall. Eyes are from turquoise inlays.
