Endangered in the wild, rhinoceros are intimidating and powerful creatures. But they are not without play and a good time. One of the most common behaviors rhinoceroses participate in is wallowing, which usually takes place in muddy patches. It's a way to cool down while also protecting skin from insects and the sun. A fossil stone rhinoceros by Fabian Tsethlikai rises after sitting in a nice cool mud bath. Happy eyes are from turquoise inlays, while other adorable details include the ears, swishing tail, and nubby toes. About 2" long, 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
