Two Tablita Corn-Maidens make offerings of Corn. Inside a tiny carved bowl from jet, the harvest's bounty is shown with crushed turquoise, carved coral and shell pieces. The Maiden's faces are inlaid with either jet or turquoise, while red coral inlays represent voices. They are carved from either Picasso marble or iridescent abalone. Dimensions in their entirety including the lovely sandstone base are about 2 1/2" tall, 1 5/8" wide and 1 1/8" deep, by Carl Etsate.
