A pleasant
Raven (or crow) has landed after riding the cool summer air currents flowing down from the mountains. In nature, both ravens and crows often rise on air currents only to swoop down toward earth then glide back upwards over and over. Calvert Bowannie carved this super smart corvid from marble inlaying expressive eyes from turquoise. It's nicely polished like a real corvid is with lustrous plumage. Turquoise inlays add an extra special touch. About 1 5/8" long, 5/8" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
