Heartfelt Ravens mate for life. They hold complex inner capacities for love, memory and sorrow. When a partner passes, the surviving raven stays close to the body, nuzzles the remains and makes cooing sounds comforting the companion. They revisit the site for extended periods of time. Herbert Halate's empathic raven (or crow) is carved from jet and intricately etched. Sky blue eyes are from turquoise inlays. About 3" long, 1/2" wide and 3/4" tall.
