Porcelain jasper is a unique stone found in the Sonoran mountains in northern Mexico. The alluring maroon, subtle pink and purple colorations are attractive, resembling porcelain fragments pieced together, hence its name. Christopher Sandoval's turquoise-eyed Bear that almost resembles an old-style Mountain-lion has been attentively sculpted from this luscious material. About 2 1/4" long, 3/4" wide and 1 5/8" tall.
