Jasper is an opaque, cryptocrystalline variety of quartz, usually naturally colored red like we see in Jerrold Lahaleon, Jr's sweet Frog. It is said to be an energy balancer often referred to as a supreme nurturer. Ancient warriors were known to carry a piece of jasper on their person for strength and courage in battle. Darling eyes are from turquoise inlays as well as the back accents on this approximately 1 3/4" long, 1 1/2" wide and 1" tall wonderful water creature.
