Owl the Night Grandfather because he does his work at night. Jayne Quam's serpentine raptor is creatively inlaid with nighttime symbols such as a star, a crescent moon and other celestial wonders. The heavenly mosaic is composed from materials like crushed turquoise, alunite, Picasso marble, rhyolite, spiny oyster shell, sodalite, pen shell and mother-of-pearl. Wide-eyes from turquoise inlays see it all. About 2" long, 1" wide and 2 3/8" tall.
