Carved by Frankie Poblano Chattin, this jovial denim lapis
Frog has many turquoise warts and bumps on its back. In nature this complex skin texture acts as camouflage. Frankie also inlaid bright coral eyes in this approximately 2 3/4" long, 2 1/4" wide and 1" tall amphibian. A deeply carved broad smile and nice polished finish make this carving a joy to behold. Frankie's parents are artists Jovanna Poblano and Daniel Chattin. They are part of the greater iconic Teddy Weahkee (d) family of Zuni artists.
