Eagles are living sacred symbols of power and spiritual messengers for many Indigenous cultures honored through dance and song. Nelson Yatsattie's reversible Eagle (or Hawk who in Zuni tradition is considered eagle's little brother) feather has been handsomely carved from iridescent gold lip mother-of-pearl shell and inlaid with a sky blue turquoise eye. The spirited raptor's hooked beak, plumage and feather's shaft, vane and barbs details are stunning. About 5" long, 3/8" wide and 1 5/8" tall.
