Caribbean Calcite Chirper

Caribbean calcite is a polymorphic mix between blue calcite and brown aragonite, originating in Pakistan. Together they form a combination that's reminiscent of tranquil Caribbean beaches, hence its name. Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez opted for a lovely aragonite-rich Caribbean calcite specimen to carve a spirited feathered friend, inlaying sweet eyes from jet. An offering bundle is loaded with scrumptious goodies such as coral and malachite beads. About 2 1/4" long, 1" wide and 1 3/4" tall.
