The ocean's conveniently camouflaging sandy sea floor is the perfect resting spot for Kevin Chapman's gorgeous stingray, who is actually a relative of the shark. Stingrays have armed venomous tails for defensive purposes. Some swim by undulating their bodies in a wave motion, while others appear to fly by flapping their sides up and down. The onyx specimen is quite beautiful for this approximately 2 1/2" long, 2 1/4" wide and 3/8" tall sleeping water creature.
