Roadrunners mate for life engaging in interesting courtship behavior. The male will tempt the female with a food offering like a reptile dangling from its beak. It will dance in front of her, bowing and fanning his tail, raising and dropping wings. He'll make cooing sounds. If she accepts, they'll stay together for their entire life. Enchanting roadrunners are beneficial in controlling insect and rodent populations. Fernando Laiwakete's gorgeous veined marble roadrunner has turquoise eyes and fabulous inlays from various shapes of turquoise and orange spiny oyster shell. About 2 1/4" long, 5/8" wide and 2" tall.
