Derrick and Nichelle Edaakie created a magical Hummingbird cuff bracelet in the challenging overlay inlay jewelry technique where a top piece of sterling silver was laboriously sawed out to leave a negative space of design. Another piece of silver was annealed to it. Stones and shells were then meticulously inlaid bringing to life the artful scene framed by a stunning triangular turquoise border. Colorful materials include sky blue turquoise, red coral, iridescent abalone, shimmering mother-of-pearl and rich pen shell. The pen shell wings are beautifully etched with layered plumage. The collectible bracelet's entire inner circumference is about 7 1/4" which includes the opening of roughly 1 1/2". The captivating hummingbird station is approximately 1 3/4" in diameter.
