Rich natural clay and bold mineral pigments were skillfully hand-coiled and elegantly hand-painted by wonderful potter Darla Westika in her approximately 3 1/8" tall, 4 1/4" wide and 4 1/4" deep pottery bowl. Zuni Rainbirds and water droplet motifs are represented with flowing strokes in a gorgeous repetitive design, complimented by a lovely scalloped edge. The Rainbird known as The Bringer Of Life representing prayers for rain and snow here in the arid southwest, a welcome blessing. Signed by the artist. View item
