Carl Etsate's olla Corn-Maiden has been carved from one portion of antler. Crushed turquoise a top an etched pottery jar on her head represents life-giving water. Facial features are from turquoise and jet inlays, while a bountiful corn body is incised and set with rich pipestone and turquoise pieces. Approximately 2 1/2" tall, 3/4" wide and 1/2" deep.
