Rattlesnake suns itself on a chilly autumn's day. Most beneficial snakes brumate for the cold season but some reptiles like garter snakes are more cold tolerant and may awaken during the freezing months. This precious snakelet is carved from serpentine with augite by Brian Yatsattie. Watchful eyes are from jet inlays and a rattle is at the ready. About 2 3/4" long, 1 3/8" wide and 7/8" tall.
