Solitary Wasp

Many wasp species like yellow jackets are solitary creatures who live and hunt alone. Unlike bees, most wasps can sting several times without losing their stingers. Brandon Phillips' orange alabaster, iridescent gold lip mother-of-pearl shell and jet wasp has a cute stinger from mother-of-pearl. Eyes are from turquoise inlays while mandibles are etched. About 2 7/8" long, 1 1/2" wide and 1" tall.
