In 1985, Zuni artists Georgette Quam Lunasee and Reynold Lunasee started carving together. Her first carving was a
Frog while his was a
Bear. Forty years later, they're still creating wonderful animal carvings. They've collaborated in sculpting an iridescent amphibian from shell, perhaps pink mussel shell and adorned it with sky-blue turquoise inlays for spots and darling eyes. About 2" long, 2 1/8" wide and 5/8" tall.
