Ricky Laahty is a member of the noted Leekya Deyuse (d) family of great Zuni Pueblo artists. He recently delivered a batch of amazing fetishes including this stunning lapis lazuli bushytail (
Fox,
Wolf or
Coyote) parent and baby carving. Sparkling pyrite inhabits this deep-blue mineral. Wonderful eyes are from perhaps shell, created in a trade secret method by Ricky. Hidden underneath this approximately 3" long, 1" wide and 1 1/2" tall fetish is a friendly monkey and bird, also with custom made eyes.
