Dancing Maiden

Accomplished Zuni Pueblo artist Ray Tsalate's latest offering is a confident Dancing Maiden who brings a sense of joy and celebration to us all. Happy facial features are from pen shell and red coral inlays. A dainty mother-of-pearl feather adorns an etched traditional whorled hairstyle. Many colorful inlays like coral, lapis, malachite, turquoise, sugilite and black lip shell accent. She holds two black lip shell pieces. About 2 3/4" tall, 3" wide and 1" deep, carved with integrity and excellence from burnished antler.
