Peacock ore has a desirable weightiness when held and displays an array of metallic-like blue and purple hues which are visually pleasing. The spectrum of shimmering colors are said to bring joy and a sense of well-being. Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez's textural Corn-maiden has been hewn from a great portion of peacock ore. A Dragonfly is nicely etched. An overlaid gold lip shell face is accented by a sugilite cabochon. About 2 1/8" tall, 2" wide and 1" deep.
