Eagles teach us many things including being grateful for what we have. Being thankful helps shift our mindset from focusing on what we may lack to a more positive perspective on the abundance already around us. In nature, eagles love eating fish yet are flexible and opportunistic hunters setting an example to cultivate gratitude for what is available. Andres Lementino's antler carving depicts a mighty raptor with focused eyes from turquoise inlays, who has swooped down on a jet-eyed Rabbit with its powerful talons. A Zuni Sunface element, which represents the elements in balance and harmony, is meticulously inlaid from iridescent gold lip shell, turquoise, lapis lazuli, pen shell, shimmering mother-of-pearl and apple coral. Dimensions are approximately 6 1/4" tall, 1 7/8" wide and 2 3/4" deep.
