Truncated Pyramid Mosaic Earrings

Kewa Pueblo jeweler Allison Melton's design sense is wonderful. Her work is clean and simple as seen in a gorgeous pair of green turquoise and mother-of-pearl mosaic dangle earrings overlaid on a bed of lovely melon shell. Including hooks, these medium-weight beauties hang at about 2" long, 1" wide and 1/8" deep. The shape and stacking of the turquoise stones calls to mind ancient Indigenous truncated pyramids.
