Tiger: The Sacred Defender

The Indigenous Idu Mishmi People view tigers as kin with spiritual power. Killing a tiger is considered morally prohibited, the same as murdering a family member. Among the most iconic felines on the planet, wild tigers are on the brink of extinction due to poaching, habitat loss, illegal logging and the illegal wildlife trade. We can help tigers by not buying wildlife products domestically or overseas. We can support laws that protect endangered species too.
