Calbert Bowannie brought us a lively
Badger carved from Picasso marble. Calbert is the son of Zuni artist Calvert Bowannie and is following in the family's carving tradition. Eyes are from turquoise inlays and even etching marks are a nice way to show fur detail. The spring season usually means housekeeping activities for badgers who are known to keep super clean dens or setts. About 1 3/4" long, 1 3/8" wide and 3/4" tall.
