Rabbits kick and thump when they feel threatened but also when they feel playful like Benina Kallestewa's cultured opal-eyed friend. Carved from root beer travertine, measurements are about 1 1/2" long, 1 3/4" wide and 1" tall. Rabbits react quickly to protect themselves thanks to keen hearing and large eyes that provide an excellent field of vision. Rabbits are surprisingly protective of their foraging grounds standing up to birds like magpies that get too close for comfort. Their pattern of living teaches us to exist peacefully yet aware of our surroundings, to be fearless and action-based everyday.
