Abby Panteah sculpted a streamlined
Mole from a rich marble, while her husband Clayton meticulously inlaid a heartline or breath path and little eyes. A mole’s behavior in nature suggests that we trust what we feel, not what we see as the mole lives this way all the time. For the Zuni Pueblo people a mole is the Guardian of Mother Earth, a protective and hunting animal of the underground. About 2 1/4" long, 3/4" wide and 1/2" tall.
